This densely aromatic & flavourful tea showcases the best of two popular infusions ~ Tea & Chocolate.
With hints of Vanilla accompanied by Rooibos, the rich, spicy velvet of Black tea beautifully escorts the chocolate into a fine finish & delicate linger.
*Contains Trace Amounts of Sugar & Dairy*
Steeping Instructions:
1. Fill kettle with fresh water, then heat.
2. Warm your teapot with a little hot water, discard, place your tea leaves in teapot (one level teaspoon per cup), allowing heat of the pot to release bouquet of the tea leaves.
3. Pour boiling water over tea leaves & allow to steep up to 5 mins.
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leave beyond 5 mins does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness.
Alternatively:
One of the important things about ChocolaTea is that it's not Hot Cocoa or Mocha…the Chocolate is subtle. As with most of our Flavors, the Tea takes center stage, the Flavor is a compliment or "accessory" if you will.
To get a bigger kick, make a concentrate of the ChocolaTea as (as you would with a Chai)…use about 1/4 - 1/2 less liquid than you usually would, then steep for the usual time (5 minutes). Prepare like a Latte or Cappuccino by adding steamed milk.
