Who Are Serendidipitea? Founded in 1995 by Tomislav Podreka and Linda Villano Tomislav started teaching in culinary schools in order to reach the next generation of chefs and restaurateurs. To this day they still engage SerendipiTea when developing tea menus. By 1997 they had added a retail line and moved to Southwestern Connecticut for more space In 2000 they returned to New York and moved into a storefront warehouse in Long Island City Another period of growth and expansion to 2006, sees the business move into another new home in Manhasset, a quaint town in Long Island, that accommodates their administrative/production facilities and a retail showroom The business has grown tenfold since its beginnings In 2008, Tomislav’s brother Vilim begins importing and distribution of SerendipiTea into Australia
